Ok. Here's how this one works. I'm sure many of you have played this one before. Basically, the first poster starts a story however they want. They can write as much as they want, provided it doesn't go over the posting limit, of course. The only trick is that they have to end in the middle of a sentence. Then, the next poster has to pick up where the previous poster left off, beginning their part of the story with the last letter of the previous post. It usually gets pretty funny. I'll let someone else start the story.
It was the night before Christmas and all threw the Zone house was silent. Not a noise to be heard or a movement to be seen. The fire in the fire place was dying down. All eyes were shut tight when santa came around. "ho ho ho" he shouted over the night. "Oh what good boys and girls shal I find tonight'>? Santa and his deers flew threw the sky, threw the cold snow they would fly. Santa and his slay started to land, on the xones home wear
raindrops quickly turned to snow. It was then that the zone creatures began to complain about the fact that the weather was making it impossible to sleep. What would they all do if
they froze to death before recieving gifts from Santa? Then one spoke up claiming that he wasn't even real. That was how the fight begun in The Xone home. First it was just words flying, then someone punched someone and next thing you know, everyone was causeing a seene of their own. Ablivious to what was going on, Santa landed his slay and began to unload the bag of gifts. Walking to the Chimany, he smiled to himself, thinking of all the cheerful faces that would awake on Christmas morning with gifts to open. Santa sat on the edge of the chimmany and threw his legs over and hopped inside. Tugging the large bag behind him, he squeezed down to the bottom. The fire was out, and the ashes warmed his toes. Sitting next to the fireplace was a glass of milk and a plate of cookies. Under the plate was a letter to Santa.
"Dear Santa, Please bring gifts and happyness." It red. Santa smiled and drank his milk and began to eat his cookies when he started at a rackit coming from upstairs. "Hmm" he thought. "I wonder who isn't asleep?" Finishing the cookies he left the bag of gifts and whent to see who was awake. As he went up the stairs, the noise grew. Santa's smile slowly faded in to a frown. Just a few more steps to go and...
dogs started barking from far away. Sanata thought that's where the racket was coming from. Somebody's dog had heard him coming down the chimney. As he started walking, the noise grew louder, and he soon realized that there was not one dog, but many. Just as he was about to turn the corner, a loud crash from somewhere in the distance startled him, and he stopped. He looked around, trying to see if he could spot the source of the crash, but instead, he saw...
A tangle of arms and legs flying and smashing in to their owners. With a disapproving look on Santas face, he shook his head in dismay at the seane layed out before him. Tears came to his eyes with the saddness of all the boys and girls that wouldn't be getting gifts tonight. Then Santa...
ate a few of the cookies he had picked off the plate, and just because they were so wonderful, he decided that as long as the boys and girls of the zone home would go to sleep now, he would give them gifts.
"Ok!" he shouted, "all of you have been very naughty, and should not be getting presents this year, but those cookies are absolutely delicious! Now, everybody, to their beds, now!"
Eagerly, after taking one look at Santa, the children rushed off to their beds. Unfortunately,
The cookies gave Santa the shits and he ran to the bathroom pulling his pants down in the prosses. Flinging open the door he swung himself around and dropped to sit and then it click on him that he was not in the bathroom but instead a closet. He fell to the floor, landing in his own mess. Imbarrassed and apald at what he did, he tryed to think of a way to hide his misshap. So he...
quickly closed the closet, but quietly. realizing that there were dogs around, surely there had to be pooper scoopers around, and plastic bags. He began looking around the house. To his delight, he found that everybody was, indeed, asleep, and if anybody were to wake up now, they would probably only think he was distributing gifts. He was so happily surprised when he found both the items he was looking for that he almost yelled with delight. He took both back to the messy closet where he cautiously opened the door, cleaned up the mess with the pooper scooper, put it in the bag, and closed the door behind him. He put the bag near the Christmas tree with the rest of the gifts with a note that said: This is the payback for the awake eyes I spied earlier. I hope you liked the rest of the gifts. Heading back to the chimney, Santa was pleased with...
the way the christmas tree lights made the packages look. It looked like an arts and crafts project gone terribly wrong, yet it had some strange beauty, such that he couldn't take his eyes off of the packages. They seemed to be teeming with life, and almost shift before his eyes, to form a little mountain range next to the tree. Just as he was thinking this, he saw a tiny figure on the highest peak. The figure walked to the edge, looked upwards, and very faint yodling could be heard. Suddenly, more figures could be seen...
it turned out to be a group of carol singers, who had stayed up for most of the night wondering the streets and avenues, delighting the few people that were still awake with there singing. here and there, cars sped past with there windows open, singing along, or just politely waving out the window, or even stop to take in the sceen. santa thought this was an exilent idea, and although he had a long journey ahead of him he decided to...
stop and take a closer look. All of the carolers were quite attractive people, but one lady, although she was wearing five layers, and therefore looked quite large, particularly caught Santa's eye. Just as the carolers finished a song, Santa walked over and discretely tapped the young lady on the shoulder.
"Excuse me," he said quietly, "but you look rather bulky and uncomfortable in those layers. Would you like something a bit more comfortable?"
"Yes, please," she said surprised, "but what could be comfortable, but will keep me warm at the same time?"
Instead of answering, Santa handed her...
